Alder's razor - Newton's Flaming Laser Sword
"If a claim is not empirically testable, then it is not worth discussing." - Mike Alder
Overview
This is a more extreme version of the Empiricist principle. Named after Isaac Newton. Coined by Australian mathematician Mike Alder in a 2004 article of the same title to be hyperbolically “much sharper and more dangerous than Occam's Razor”.
