Victor Stenger
Notes
Victor Stenger (1935–2014) was an American particle physicist and a prolific sceptical author. God: The Failed Hypothesis (2007) argued that a god who acts in the world is a scientific hypothesis and a failed one, and The Fallacy of Fine-Tuning (2011), with its "MonkeyGod" simulations varying several constants at once, is the most direct physicist's reply to the Fine-Tuning Argument. Some physicists think he overstated the width of the life-permitting ranges; the normalisability objection in the same note does not depend on him.
