Mike Pence
Notes
Mike Pence (born 1959), Vice President of the United States from 2017 to 2021 and an evangelical conservative of the kind whose politics I oppose almost entirely. He appears in The 2020 US Election Steal and January 6 for the one day on which his judgement mattered: told by Donald Trump and John Eastman that he could reject the electoral votes of states Trump had lost, he took advice, concluded that he could not, and counted them, while a crowd outside chanted for his hanging. Credit where it is due.
