Austin witsit
Notes
Austin Whitsitt, known online as Witsit, is an American flat Earth YouTuber (channel Witsit Gets It) who positions himself as the movement's philosophical wing, arguing about epistemology and "presuppositions" rather than about physics. He was one of the flat Earthers who travelled to Antarctica in December 2024 for Will Duffy's The Final Experiment, watched the sun stay above the horizon for twenty-four hours, acknowledged that it did, and then argued that a flat model could be made to accommodate it.
That last move is why he is here. It is the textbook unfalsifiable position: the decisive test was agreed in advance, run, and failed, and the belief survived by adding a mechanism. See Popper's Razor and Special Pleading. He is also a grifter in the ordinary sense, in that the content is the income. Listed among those who be not based in People who be and be not based.
