Sean Carroll
Notes
Sean M. Carroll (born 1966), American theoretical physicist and philosopher, now at Johns Hopkins, author of The Big Picture (2016) and host of the Mindscape podcast. Debated William Lane Craig at the Greer-Heard Forum in 2014, where he argued that "cause" is not a concept that appears in fundamental physics and that the question "what caused the universe?" may be malformed. The most useful physicist in the god debate because he engages with the philosophy rather than waving it away.
