Andrew Wilson is an American Christian commentator and host of The Crucible, a livestreamed debate show built around apologetics and culture-war arguments. His method is presuppositionalist in all but name: rather than offer evidence for Christianity, he demands that the opponent justify logic, morality or knowledge without God, and treats any failure to do so to his satisfaction as a win. He has debated Destiny and a long list of atheist and progressive streamers.
He appears here as a specimen of the Transcendental Argument used as a debating tactic rather than an argument. The regress he points to is real (see the Münchhausen trilemma); his claim that a god stops it is not, since the god is one more thing that needs justifying.
