David Icke
Notes
David Icke (born 1952), former English footballer and BBC sports presenter who announced in 1991 that he was the son of God and has since built a career on the claim that the world is controlled by shape-shifting reptilian beings. His writing draws directly on older antisemitic conspiracy literature, including The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, with "Jew" replaced by "lizard", and his more recent work on COVID-19 and 5G got him banned from most platforms in 2020. The most successful British conspiracy theorist, which is not a compliment to Britain.
