Daniel C. Dennett (1942–2024), philosopher of mind and one of the "Four Horsemen" of New Atheism. Treated consciousness as a natural, explicable product of evolution, argued that Qualia do not exist as described, and defended Compatibilism. I share his naturalism about the mind and part company with him on free will.
