Map Men

Notes

Map Men are Jay Foreman (born 1984) and Mark Cooper-Jones (born 1982), British comedians whose YouTube series of the same name explains a cartographic oddity per episode, from why Britain's time zone is where it is to why nobody agrees on where Europe ends, with a running gag density that would embarrass most sitcoms. Their first book, This Way Up, came out in 2025. They are here because they are very good at the hardest part of explaining anything: finding out what is actually true before being funny about it.
