Gish gallop

The Gish Gallop is a rhetorical technique in which a person attempts to overwhelm their opponent by rapidly presenting a large number of arguments, regardless of their quality or accuracy. The tactic relies on the impracticality of addressing every point in a limited time. If the opponent fails to refute them all, they may be portrayed as unable to respond—diverting them from making their own case and forcing them into a defensive position.
