Britt Marie Hermes (born 1984), American former naturopathic doctor who trained at Bastyr University, practised in Arizona, and left the profession in 2014 after discovering that a colleague was importing an unapproved cancer drug. Her blog Naturopathic Diaries documents from the inside what licensed naturopathy teaches and does, and she was sued for defamation in Germany by a naturopath whose cancer claims she had criticised, and won in 2019. She has since retrained as a biomedical scientist. She appears here as the best witness there is on naturopathy, because she is the one who has seen both sides of the counter.
