William Barr

Notes

William Barr (born 1950), United States Attorney General under George H. W. Bush and again under Donald Trump from 2019 to 2020. A loyal servant of the second administration until December 2020, when he told the Associated Press that the Justice Department had found no fraud on a scale that could have changed the election, told Trump privately that the claims were "bullshit", and resigned a fortnight later. He appears in The 2020 US Election Steal and January 6 as the witness whose evidence is hardest for the theory to explain away: the man Trump appointed to find the fraud, who looked and said there was none.
