Michael Behe
Notes
Michael Behe (born 1952), American biochemist at Lehigh University and senior fellow of the Discovery Institute, author of Darwin's Black Box (1996), which introduced the argument from "irreducible complexity" that underpins intelligent design. His own department posted a disclaimer dissociating itself from his views. As the defence's chief expert witness at Kitzmiller v. Dover in 2005 he conceded that no peer-reviewed research supported intelligent design and that his definition of science would also admit astrology.
