Richard Ayoade
Notes
Richard Ayoade (born 1977), British comedian, actor, director and author, best known as Maurice Moss in The IT Crowd and as the director of Submarine (2010) and The Double (2013). His books are mock-memoirs and mock-criticism written in the voice of a preposterously self-regarding auteur: Ayoade on Ayoade (2014), The Grip of Film (2017, as "Gordy LaSure") and Ayoade on Top (2019), a book-length study of the film View from the Top. He appears in this vault because those books are in it.
